ذكذكآ» presents Rabbit Hole by David Lindsay-Abaire
ذكذكآ»â€™s theatrical production of David Lindsay-Abaire’s Rabbit Hole opens Friday, Feb. 23. Sharon Dixon Obst, director of Theatre and lecturer in the English and Communication Department, directs the show.
David Lindsay-Abaire tells the tragic tale of Howie and Becca Corbett and the events that shattered their world. Winner of the 2007 Pulitzer Prize, Rabbit Hole tells the story of a family trapped in grief and loss. Driven apart by tragedy, Becca and Howie’s relationship desperately needs healing and a path to find their way back to each other and a brighter future.
“Grief takes on many forms and doesn’t happen on a timeline,†explains Obst. “This script looks at the humanity needed to create the space to heal from loss.â€
The shows will be held at the ذكذكآ» Theatre located on the main campus with evening performances at 7:30 p.m. on Feb. 23-24, Feb. 29 and March 1-2. Sunday matinees will be offered at 2 p.m. on Feb. 25 and March 3. The Feb. 29 performance will be ASL interpreted.
